Jason DePetris is the founder and Principal of Be Here Now Insurance & Financial Services. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Investment Adviser Representative with Eagle Strategies LLC. Jason has spent more than 16 years helping individuals, families, and business owners prepare for retirement, protect what matters most, and make thoughtful financial decisions.
Why I Started Be Here Now
In 2019, at age 41, I suffered a stroke the day before I was scheduled to run the Chicago Marathon. What followed was open brain surgery and months of recovery. After spending nearly a decade helping clients prepare for life's uncertainties, I suddenly found myself relying on the same financial strategies I had recommended to others.
Thankfully, I made a full recovery. But the experience changed how I viewed financial planning. It reinforced my belief that financial preparation isn't about predicting the future—it's about creating the freedom and security to face whatever life brings.
That experience ultimately led me to found Be Here Now Insurance & Financial Services.
